I had the thought that using a computer generated visual aid might be helpful for at least one of the defusion exercises. For example, the Floating Leaves on a Stream. Could a computer be used for this exercise, especially for individuals having difficulty visualizing the stream in their heads. To my imagination it would go like this: A computer creates the stream image and the tree etc. The individual can then literally type any thoughts he/ she is having into the computer and it goes onto the leave and they then watch that leave float down stream. As I'm typing, I can forsee at least two problems with this, and still I would like some feedback. Problem one: the exercise would be slower or take longer (also not in real - time/keeping up with the pace of thoughts in one's head etc.) and problem two: one wouldn't be able to place their own private images onto the computer generated leaves. Just an idea though.
