I became interested in ACT in the mid-90's under the tutlege of Joseph Scardapane, Ph.D. at Hofstra University. Since that time, I have used several contextually-based therapies in my practice including ACT, DBT and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I am an active ACT and RFT-related consumer. My understanding of ACT has deepened considerably since working closely with D.J. Moran since 2006.
I am the Executive Director of the Psychological Solutions Institute in Lisle, Illinois. This is a clinical training site where ACT, FAP, DBT and MBCT is taught to clinical practicum students.
