My foundational training as a therapist is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I have long been a student of mindfulness/acceptance work. In recent years, my focus has shifted away from traditional CBT and my approach is now almost exclusively ACT. I have completed brief trainings, I've read ACT texts, and I continue to study ACT and similar models almost daily.
