An Introduction to Relational Frame Theory is an interactive, web-based tutorial designed to introduce the basic concepts and approach of Relational Frame Theory (RFT). It was developed using Macromedia Flash, PHP, and MySQL and includes an abundance of graphics, animations, interactions, and practice activities to help clarify the complex concepts of RFT. Take a look at some screenshots to get a feel for the tutorial's look and design.
The tutorial was written and designed for a very broad audience. It is hoped that everyone from undergraduate psychology students to doctoral-level psychologists to any educated person on the street (or on the web!) will find the material accessible, engaging, and relevant.
In 2005 the tutorial received the Nova Southeastern Award for Outstanding Practice by a Graduate Student in Instructional Design from the Design & Development division of the Association for Educational Communications & Technology. With an award name that long, you know it's got to be good.

Due to some required software upgrades on my web servers, my Relational Frame Theory (RFT) tutorial was no longer functioning correctly. To correct these problems, and to make several additional improvements to the content of the tutorial, I am working on a brand new version of the tutorial. Unfortunately, its development is taking longer than I had planned (what else is new?). It will definitely be ready by Summer 2009 (and probably before), but I cannot provide an exact date. I will send an email to the RFT and ACT mailing lists, and to anyone who has ever registered a user account for the tutorial, when the new version is available.
In the meanwhile, I am providing a no-frills version of the tutorial at the URL listed below. This version has the same content as the version you know and loathe, but it has no database connectivity. This means it cannot record student answers or scores on quizzes or track which people have completed. But, it is available now and anyone is free to use it. If you are using it for a class, you may wish to implement an in-class quiz to ensure that students are completing it.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please let me know if you encounter any problems with the tutorial (I *think* I removed all the code that required a database connection, but I could have missed something).
