Online tutorial

Hi!

Please, before www.relationalframetheory.com vanishes into cyberspace, please be sure the tutorial is working on this site. Please?

(not only do I regularly return to the tutorial to fresh up my memory, but I recommend it to A LOT of people, mostly my CBT loving collegues...)

it is

Hi Marco,

The RFT Tutorial is already working on this site. The tutorial has actually been hosted on this site for the past 6 months or so (the tutorial page on the old RFT site is just linking to this site)...

I'm glad you find it useful!

Cheers,
Eric

Hi Eric, Actually, I find it

Hi Eric,

Actually, I find it more than usefull, it's a perfect example of mixing serious theory with humor and that's what's missing in this world (also referring to parts of the CBT-ACT discussion on the ACT newsgroup).
I always refer to your work when I tell people about ACT/RFT, and got lots of people interested thanks to the tutorial. Are there plans to translate it in other languages, like Dutch?

Keep up the good work!

Translation RFT

Hi Marco,

There is a Dutch version of the Yahoo Group, at groups.msn.com/ACTintervisie. You are welcome to join.
Maybe we could form a group there who can help translate the tutorial. I am told, maybe you know this already, that people are working at a translation of two books of Steven Hayes in Dutch.

Translation RFT

Hi Jacqueline,

Thanks for reacting! I will surely join this group, and I'm very interesting in sharing the terrible burden of translating the RFT tutorial into Dutch :-)

Speak to you soon.

Marco

translating the RFT tutorial

Thanks for the kind words about the tutorial, Marco. I would love to have the tutorial translated into other languages, but it would be a somewhat time-intensive endeavor. What I would need is for someone to provide a screen-by-screen translation (taking care to provide translations for any pop-up text, feedback messages, button, etc.), and then I would need to manually go through the tutorial source file and change the text. I could probably find a student to assist me with this process, though, so if you (or anyone else!) is interested in helping with a translation, contact me and we can discuss some options for making the process as easy as possible for all parties!
