Psychotherapy Networker Session March 2008
Here are the PowerPoint slides and handouts for the Psychotherapy Networker lunch address on the "Roots of Compassion" and the "Seven Strategies of Liberation" workshop.
You do need to join ACBS to download the materials but the amount paid is up to you (down to $1 ... pay what you think ACT support is worth). If even that is a barrier, email me (hayes@unr.edu)
The Psychotherapy Networker will be selling the DVD of the lunch address and the audio for the first half of the workshop (www.psychotherapynetworker.org). The last half you can't buy because it contains proprietary material owned by APA that is part of a DVD on ACT that APA will be selling in the latter part of this year. While I am on all of that the Psychotherapy Networker also offers a 6 hour course on ACT in their audio CEU section.

Steven Hayes presentation on Roots of Compassion
I was at the Networker Symposium. I just joined ACBS because I am so impressed by Steven Hayes and ACT. I really enjoyed the presentation. He has a passion for this work and that inspires me in my practice. I also attended the intensive workshop led by Steven and it was very enlightening. ACT is very empowering for me as a Therapist and I hope to help my clients feel empowered as opposed to stuck with their emotions. Great stuff!
