 <title>ACT Practical Skills Development Sessions with Mary Sawyer - Sydney</title>

&lt;p&gt;This is a series of 6 weekly, 2- hour sessions that  will cover the 6 core ACT Processes, morning and evening. The first session will begin on Wednesday 10th September and will finish on Wednesday 22 October. You will get to practice what it is like to do ACT and be a client.&lt;br /&gt;
The group will be small, no more than 10 participants and you will be guided by an experienced ACT practitioner, Mary Sawyer. Each session is experiential in nature and you will require a fundamental understanding of ACT theory, have done extensive reading or have been to an introductory workshop.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Caring for PTSD in Primary Care</title>

&lt;p&gt;This will be a one-day training by Kevin Polk, Ph.D. sponsored by the Cabin Creek Health Systems in West Virginia. It will be an introduction to ACT, including 3-Minute ACT for Primary Care Settings. The goal is to show how ACT can be used as an overarching view of PTSD treatment (getting people back into life) that can be started in primary care, and then be augmented with more intensive ACT (or even other PTSD-specific treaments like Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy or EMDR) in mental health care settings.&lt;/p&gt;
