Il ciclo formativo sull'Acceptance and Commitment Therapy prosegue con la prima giornata di formazione avanzata dedicata allo studio e all'applicazione dei processi e delle componenti specifiche del modello terapeutico. Il workshop di una giornata esplorerà in dettaglio i processi di Accettazione e Defusione. Verranno presentate teoria e tecniche specifiche utili nella pratica clinica. Obiettivo del workshop è quello di fornire competenze e tecniche applicative.
This workshop will provide a step-by-step framework for functionally conceptualizing client behavior problems, and will discuss selection and application of specific ACT interventions. The workshop will also help attendees develop their own ACT consistent interventions, exercises, and metaphors.
This advanced workshop will allow going more deeply into theoretical and practical knowing of ACT, offering the possibility to participants to bringing up difficulties and problems they have found in their experience with ACT.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is een nieuwe vorm van cognitieve gedragstherapie die in Nederland en België snel terrein aan het winnen is. In ACT wordt cliënten geleerd om te stoppen met vechten tegen emoties, gedachten, herinneringen, impulsen waar niet van te winnen valt, en hun tijd en energie te investeren in zaken die werkelijk van belang zijn, namelijk hun waarden. Centraal in ACT staan concepten als mindfulness, cognitieve defusie en waardegericht gedrag.
