ACT Oceania II: 2008 Christchurch New Zeland

Core ACT Processes and their Techniques- series of 6 workshops with Mary Sawyer in Sydney

In this series of 6 classes, participants will be introduced to and will practice the main techniques used in each of the six ACT core therapeutic processes: Acceptance, Experiential Aviodance, Cognitive defusion, Being Present in the moment, Self as Context and Defining Valued directions. Participants may choose to attend one or all of the sessions in service of the development of their competent ACT practice. (Places are limited to 20 participants per session to maximise practical experience in the session.)

Introductiecursus ACT in Blooming te Bergen (Noord Holland)

Inhoud: Deze cursus is een introductie in de wetenschapsfilosofie, de wetenschappelijke onderbouwing (RFT) en de therapie van ACT. Na afloop van de cursus is de cursist in staat gebruik te maken van de principes van ACT.

ACT Practical Skills Development Sessions with Mary Sawyer - Sydney

This is a series of 6 weekly, 2- hour sessions that will cover the 6 core ACT Processes, morning and evening. The first session will begin on Wednesday 10th September and will finish on Wednesday 22 October. You will get to practice what it is like to do ACT and be a client.
The group will be small, no more than 10 participants and you will be guided by an experienced ACT practitioner, Mary Sawyer. Each session is experiential in nature and you will require a fundamental understanding of ACT theory, have done extensive reading or have been to an introductory workshop.

ACT Core Skills and Competencies Workshop: Utilizing Acceptance and Mindfulness in Your Practice - Portland, OR

This is a practical workshop facilitated by Jason Luoma, Ph.D., and Chad Drake, Ph.D., in Portland, Oregon. It will be focused on helping therapists integrate mindfulness and acceptance processes into their practices. The workshop includes watching video of ACT sessions focused on these processes, case conceptualization, and opportunities for practice.
