Kelly Wilson will present a 1-day introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Oakland, California. The workshop will be held at New Harbinger Publications. Registration can be done online Click Here and scroll down to the Oakland Workshop.

Dr. Robyn Walser has begun her 6 session telephone class for beginning and intermediate learning. The first class is recorded and can be listened to in preparation for session 2 on 10:00 a.m. PACIFIC on July 11. Dr. Robyn Walser will teach this group over six months. Her style is flexible, engaging and informative. The group meets monthly for one hour through December. The group is structured to maximize your learning of ACT and can include a number of things. We explore everything from initial implementation to using ACT with specific clients. We are flexible to meet the groups needs.
This is the introductory acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) workshop that is being presented as an opportunity primarily for professionals to be able to experientially contact the ACT approach. A considerable portion of the workshop is expected to be experiential. The remainder will be interspersed with introduction of concepts and theory where necessary. The format and content of the workshop will generally adhere to the design of the weekend ACT workshops conducted by Dr. Stephen Hayes, and will be largely based on the book: Steven C. Hayes, Kirk D. Strosahl, Kelley Wilson (1999).
