Acceptance and diabetic peripheral neuropathy

I am currently a 3rd year graduate student who has just begun writing my dissertation proposal. My dissertation study will be on coping processes in individuals with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and it will be part of a larger study examining the effectivness of thermal biofeedback as a treatment for diabetic peripheral neuropathy. I have found some resources on chronic pain and acceptance (e.g., McCraken, Chronic Pain and ACT book), and I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions for helpful resources. Does anyone know if there are current studies examining acceptance in similar populations? I would appreciate any feedback that you may have. Thanks!
